this may be too much to ask for, but will the Zune card update on myspace or facebook like it does on zune.net
Yes, the Zune card will update just as it does on Zune.net, since the flash application gets its information from Zune.net.

EDIT: It works on myspace ^_^

Ok, I'm adding to the instructions for those who didn't get it.

Thanks!

With some minor tweaking I was able to adapt this for posting on LiveJournal (in my profile)...  It wouldn't post as is but I dropped the DIV tag from the html code (and the embed type) and it now posts just fine.

Works great on MySpace... it's a shame the smaller card doesn't show my info yet though... great job!

I like how it updates itself on myspace.  That is really good if you did write that program by hand.

The code generator? Nah, I just Googled "Zune Card Embed" and the link to that was one of the results. Even this site uses the same code. Everyone's Zune Card has the same basic code. The only thing that separates everyone's Zune Card is the "flashvars=..." (aka Flash Variables) part of the code, which tells the flash player whose music info to grab. What I'm trying to say is, I can put your Zune Tag into the code instead of mine, and have it show your info on my Facebook profile. So once you understand the basic format, all you need are the variables.

So in response to your comment, all Zune Cards grab their info from the same database [that records what you listen to].
