The Zune Sales Rep I spoke with indicated the Zune 80 will not be released till mid-December.  He received an email with this news as we were talking on the phone this morning.  He and I were both shocked as all the press releases indicate Zune 80s will be released today.  He put me on hold to further inquire when the actual releast date will be.  A couple of the people around him said Dec. 10th.  However, it wasn't certain.

I've been looking around this morning for the Zune 80 as well in the Atlanta Metro Area with no luck.

Ok I give up.  I have checked every store on the Zune.net and none one has it available for today.

Guess I'll just have to wait longer.   ;-(

I'm pretty sure zune.net is selling them. Not until early December can you get the Zune Originals, I can barely wait that long though, haha.

Are they selling out or simply havn't been shipped yet? I think they were "shipping" today, which usually means they will get to some places tomorrow or later today.

Whoah!  I live in St. Louis and go to UMSL.  I got mine from Circuit City.  No Wal-marts in the area carry them.  And Best Buy is only selling them online.  Go to Circuit City but hurry because they only have a few units at each store.  Apparently there is a shortage due to the manufacturing issues.  So run to Circuit City now or wait til mid December.  Good luck!

Ahh I'm stuck at school so I have to wait till 3:30 to go pick my 80 gig up.  Hopefuly Circuit City will have them in stock.

Congrats, then!

I'm spent though...half a tank of gas is gone!  Best Buy was kind of shocked that they didn't get any in.  So was Sears.
