Yeah mine froze too all it shows is the start up screen. It used to freeze every once and a while but when the battery ran out, I would charge it and it would work fine again.

It's just a hunch, but I bet after midnight tonight, they will all come back to life. I suspect this is some kind of leap year bug. As a software developer, I've seen similar issues in the past...

I've had my pink 30 for a little over a year and this is the first time it's frozen....does anyone know what the warranty is???  Mine too, is stuck on the start up screen and has the logo with the progress bar.  Won't restart.  Cannot wait for a fix!!!

I have a 30 that I didn't update to 3.1 it is still at 3.0 and it is running just fine. I have two other co-workers that have 30's and they are having the same lock up issue. So I would imagine that it is a firmware issue between V1 and V2 devices.

I hope so. Otherwise, I really don't see an easy fix for this.
