re: Help-frozen zune!!!!

They should do something on expired warranty is not usual this, so any one know if they have say a reason or an answer of why this just happend. Zune staff people I'm waiting for an anwser why my freaking zune is on a loading screen and i just won't do anything.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine feals excesivley (Spelled wrong) hot, i cant connect to my music at all, and idk how much battery i had left when it all happend.

I just fliped off to unlock and it diddnt do nothin then i fliped back and forth then it started going then stoped.

Im sad now.

it happened to me at midnight =/....i miss my zune...please!! i don't want it to die....i could use another zune, but a newer one which means i won't have my zune that has saved my life many times lol ...

Well I just joined the crowd. Same problem, and it happened late last night. So there is a common problem to all of this.

OMG! I just got up and was about to play one of my songs on my original pink 30 gb zune from from the new ZN9 ihome charger and i find it frozen on the Zune logo screen with a full loading bar. i've tried restarting like a million times, i've tried pressing different buttons, and i've tried plugging it into the computer,  but this thing isnt working AT ALL! it's been completely frozen for about 30 mins. now. this is weird because i've never had problems with it before and i've only had it for 1 YEAR! i better not have to buy a new one. i had to save all my babysitting money to buy this one. somebody at zune tech or zune support or whatever needs to figure out what's going on and fix it, or they need to refund us our money because it's obviously not our faults.

Mine too.  30G Zune with a frozen Zune Logo and the loading bar on the screen.  Problem began after midnight and it will not restart or turn off.  Just glowing in the dark.  May have to change use of product.  Perhaps a nightlight for my 4 year old.

Well, I'm glad to see I'm not alone. But, in some small way it still seems like the end of the world!

Went to sleep last night with my 30gb ZUNE turned off and snugly tucked into its A/V cradle. Woke up this morning with a frozen boot screen (showing the ZUNE logo and the boot progress bar almost full). Waiting now to hear from Microsoft if they are still around....

I wish it's something they can't fix and the 30gb become obsolete and they have to give us back our money or a newer model....but yea i'm pissed cause i have no music to go to sleep to tonight.

This is so weired. I have 5 30 GB Zunes not working and 2 of my daughters are also not working. They are all frozen with the Zune logo and status bare. I have a new 120 GB and it is working fine. Need to know what is going on with the 30 GB Zune. I just notice that one of the 30 GB zune the battery die and it is showing the rechage batter sign on.

My 30GB Zune is also froze on the startup screen with the progressive bar full!  Whats going on?  Please help Zune PPL!

Well might as well add my name to the long list of unhappy customers. Mines froze at the loading screen also, and the bar was at 100%. At 5:45am it finally died. I plugged it up and it's charging so hopefully it will work, because I can't buy another mp3 right now.

Here's a thread just started with what might have to be the fix, but I'm not attempting it quite yet even though mine is just beyond warranty (13 months old).
