Happen to me and another friend of mine this morning and MS Zune is not responding when you call - you get disconnected.

May have to forget the battery thing.... it was working fine for like ten minutes and then all of a sudden it froze up again. Gonna try it one more time and this time NOT resetting the clock (it was off the first time)

I'm sure not everyone has the time or the tools to completely take apart their zune and do some trick to make it work again. Microsoft really needs to address this problem, I'm starting to get pissed off here. There has to be an easier way to fix this universal glitch than the risky approach of tearing your mp3 player apart. And why aren't they answering on customer service?!?

Mine is also Frozen. It's frozen on the start up screen. I don't have the warranty on mine anymore that I know of though.

Microsoft is having a really crappy attitude about this, it's as if they don't even care about losing their customer! My Zune has given me many problems, but this has to top it all off! A part of me wants to give Microsoft another chance, but the other half of me is saying DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. I don't know what I will do; if Microsoft comes out with a new update or fix to this horrible thing, then maybe I'll be more optimistic, but if not, then goodbye Zune and hello Ipod!

Plugged my 30g in this morning and it's frozen on the Zune screen and nothing can be done -- no reboots -- nothing -- any advice?

I'm frozen as well.  I charged it fully yesterday while at work and listened to it on the way home.  This morning, it's stuck.  As I type this, it actually just shut off due to battery.  I'll try charging it to see if that helps, but I have my doubts.  Angry [:@]

I've had my 30GB Zune freeze up before, and plugging it in to a power source seemed to help then; however, it seems to have frozen this morning at the Zune loading screen just as the rest of the people here are reporting.  I think my approach now is to wait for the battery to die then hook it up to the computer to see if the Zune software will at least recognize that it's connected.

 

I'm really curious why all of the Zunes are failing at about the same time.  I wonder if it has anything to do with the clock or some of the programming.  It's a good thing that I only paid $350 for this 3 years ago...sorry, I almost choked over my sarcasm.
