+1 on this. I'm not 70 years old.

Hey, did your focus group say that the target market was senior citizens???

It is really slow compared to the old software. Also, it thinks that track 24 comes before track 06 when I sort by track number.

Okay, then zune team, what's with the total stonewalling?

We have gotten absolutely no response regarding our absolute hatred of the lack of autoplaylists, not to mention the other areas that have been marked around.

Dude, the Zune-team worked months on the new Zune-software, and I think it's great. The fact that one feature is missing which some of us would like back doesn't mean they have to respond within a few hours (or even days) after the release.

I'm gradeful that the Zune-team is going trough all this efford to make the software avaible for the early adopters, many, many big brands do the opposite and would force you to buy a new product.

Also I´m sure the zune software-team will notice that a proportion of the Zune-owners like the autoplaylist and I'm sure they will consider it for a future software update.

The Zunesoftwre works much more quickly over here, and i general the new firmware is faster, also see:

There you can see the speed improvement clearly.

I HATE it! Just because I don't have a zune pass doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to play the music I got from the trial. >__<!!!

I honestly hate the new software. It's way too style over substance. Although I like simplicity, I don't like it when the interface is so dumbed down that I can't even alter track info. All I ask for is a classic mode or something to that effect.

I was an iPod user until I switched when the original Zune was released. Most of my friends have Zunes now because of me. I hate this software so much that I'm about to switch back to the iPod.

Am I retarded or can you not edit the id3 info for tracks that are missing it in the new software other than the annoying one-at-a-time limited info option?  I have like 300 tracks in unknown artist and can't for the life of me figure out how to rename the artists for them..  Great.. I can see the properties for each track.. but I cant edit any ID3 info for them in that window?  Am I missing something?

Going to the list view for music you can see the extended metadata. You can right click on the column header to get more track attributes as well. From here a right click on a field will allow you to edit. You can tab/arrow around to edit multiple tracks in a row. Changes by the user to these fields will be written back out to the wma/aac/mp3 files.

I'm so irritated.  I need to be able to tell my library which album I want my songs to be from.  I loved being able to right click on an album and edit the album info.  When I did that, it would give me a list of possible albums and let me choose which one I wanted (for example, Garth Brooks - Fresh Horses vs. Garth Brooks - Fresh Horses [bonus tracks]).  Why is this feature gone?  PLEASE BRING IT BACK!  I would have never updated to the new firmware and software if I had known this was going to be such a hassle.
