About Electronica (or another genre): This would be an editorially-driven electronica quiz - the more I know about electronica, the better I do! I can try to be the electronica expert on the Zune Social. About the '80s (or another year): Editorially-driven questions about the 80s (or whatever other year). Music Generalist: Questions from all the quizzes except for the "About Me" quiz - this would be a HUGE quiz, like hundreds or thousands of questions, and very few people would get a majority right and those people would get badges or something like in Xbox Live. I also think that while our editorial team can create the quizzes, it would be better if they did some and we allowed users to do some. So I could create my own "Electronica" quiz, and then if other people voted on my questions, maybe my questions could be included in the overall quiz? What do you think of that?

The XBox Live "achievements" idea might have some legs. More high level than that, maybe stick something on our Zune Card about how we're doing in quizzes whether its achievements or whatever.

I think the direction is right. But I do have few questions. Suppose I create a few quizzes. So I have 3 which falls under “About Me” and 2 which falls under genre like “Indi Rock”. Will I be able to manage these quizzes? It would be great to be able to see these quizzes under their proper category on some sort of “My Quiz” page which will contain all quizzes made by me.
You should give tags for the quizzes just like there are tags in Picture organizers like Live Photo Gallery. So I can maybe create a quiz which revolves around Civil Right Movement and tag it so. Or maybe it’s about music from SiFi movies and I can tag the quiz that. This would help other people find user generated quiz.
I think along with the quiz you should, if possible, give the ability to place the 30 second sound clip. I think it would be great way to discover some music on which the quiz is based.
How about trivia based upon the 30 sec sound clip. That should be interesting. So the question will can be formulated o the basis of 30 sec sound clip.

Hmmm...
I like that! But there should be something to win at the end of the quiz or question or whatever you end up calling it. If your not an xbox player and just a Zune user, maybe an upgrade in your community ranking, or even better micro soft points which can be used all over the place.
Just a thought.
Dear jetherealz,
For the music trivia, it should have a main menu, so when you exit out of the game you don't have to restart, like apple did in their nano. on the menu, there should be genres of music for various quizzes, or all for all genres. the background should really be multicolored, as if it were a computer screen of the future. lastly, the transition effects should be awestrucking, so the game can addict as many people as possibe.
thanks for your help,

P.S. you should include some three dimentional graphics so the game gives a modern appearance to the zunegamer, not an appearance that came from the 80's. also, there shouldn't be any corny music in the background. alternative or metal songs give it an adult-like appearance, not a childish one.
thanks again~!

Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine. I think that more people need to get a Zune o_o
I went back thru the discussions and couldn't specifically see if we were discussing this as a 'forums'-only deal or if the 'Social' web portion could be utilized as well, so I focused my answers more on using 'Social'. Disregard if I missed something!
