As far as the Marketplace, I would like to see a VIDEO section.
I use the podcast section and would like to see more selections.
As far as the Zune device, I would like it to be audiobook capable AND have selections on the Marketplace.
I have a Zunepass, use it and love it.
Thanks,
TW
Zune desperately needs to overhaul its software. It's ridiculous how much of a pain it is to edit my tracks. Case in point: Chef Aid. The track listing for this is as follows:
1. South Park Theme - Primus
2. Nowhere to Run - Ozzy Osbourne/DMX/Ol' Dirty ***/The Crystal Method/Fuzzbubble
3. Chocolate Salty Balls (P.S. I Love You) - Chef
4. Brad Logan - Rancid
5. Come Sail Away - Eric Cartman
6. Kenny's Dead - Master P
7. Simultaneous - Chef
8. Will They Die 4 You? (Remix) – Ma$e/Puff Daddy/Lil' Kim/System of a Down
9. Hot Lava - Perry Farrell and DVDA
10. Bubblegoose (Remix) - Wyclef Jeanwith Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman
11. No Substitute - Chef
etc. (continues on for ten more tracks)
Zune software will automatically create a different album for every different artist. This is crazy. To improve the software, the user should be able to edit everything about a song: the artist, the album, the genre, and even the track number. I used that German program “Mp3tag” to remove tags, but after I filled in the blanks using the Zune software to fill in artist, album, etc, the tracks went into different albums again.
Make an update of the software so that the user can edit the artist, the album, the track number, the genre, and make it so that all tracks listed under a certain album, regardless of whether or not the artists are the same, go under that album. If the user does not enter or deletes the track number, order the album alphabetically. Also, when the user edits tracks, make it so that he can edit groups of tracks all at the same time. In the current Zune software, if I click and hold my mouse down, scroll it over a few albums and then right-click, I cannot edit anything at all.
In short, improve the interface. The best interface I’ve come across as far as storing music was Yahoo! Jukebox. It’s easy to use, and it’s simple to edit your tracks with it.

Oh Snap!
Well Cesar, like others there are few gripes with the marketplace itself. More so the problems are with the gimped software, but that's for a different topic, and i'm sure you and your team have read them to death. I just hope you are actually listening.
If there is one gripe I can think of at all for marketplace, it is audiobook support. I don't know if it's liscensing issues or what have you but you guys should really jump on this.
As for the Zune Pass. I have one and I don't know how i've owned a music player without one. It has really opened up music for me, and I could never go back to purchasing by track unless of course it was an actual CD/DRM free MP3 (which I still quite frequently do). Still, having so many albums at my immediate disposal is AMAZING, and I discover something new all the time.
- You guys really need to play up this important strength of the Zune.
- If by any chance you guys for some weird reason or another ever consider removing it, DON'T!
I personally do not mind seeing ALL the albums released by an aritist, even the ones not available on marketplace if for nothing else more than discographical information.
- Thanks for listening.
Memories don't live like people do.
Things I'd like to see Zune team add to Marketplace:
1. Ability to subscribe to 'premium' podcasts. I.E. paid subscriptions that require a username and password to download the content
2. Add audiobook content
3. Add a video section even if its only populated by music videos currently
Stuff I like:
1. I like the look and feel of the new software
2. there are more genres
3. podcast support
The only thing I don't like about my zunepass is it seems like all my content can't be shared zune to zune.
