I don't understand this item from Cesar's fix list.  Can anyone help?

I means that you can turn off the advanced graphics features from the command line. You used to have to do it through the registry if you had the problem where the Zune interface was all scrambled. This should make it a lot easier for tech support to walk people through the fix.

First, thanks for the update!  I'm looking forward to it.

But, while I don't want to sound dumb, how do I get it?  I can't get it via the current software as it errors out when looking for updates.  I've looked around in the places that I would usually look but don't see a download.  So... any hints?

OK. That's the full installation package.  Isn't this just an update?  There's not just a patch to apply?

Cesar and the Zune Team (Hey, that could be a catchy TV show, Cesar and the Zune Team)... you're my hero(s). Many (if not all) of these bugs have been driving me crazy since the release of the software.

Thanks a lot, and keep up the good work!

EDIT: And the best part is... I went into the Zune Software and hit update, it popped up, took about two minutes, closed and the Zune Software came back up! None of the usual hassle that's become MS's trademark!

I wonder if the heart ratings now sync properly from the device to the computer library.  Also, I wonder if the software will still tell me that certain tracks aren't on my zune (missing the zune icon next to them) when in fact they are.

Um... so, I've downloaded the update from that link.  Then when I run it, it sits there, thinking for a bit, claiming to be checking for updates.  Then it says that it can't access Microsoft Update and that I need to try again later.

But didn't I just download the update?  Sigh.  Do I need to slog out to microsoft.com to pull down the full 160+ MB installation?

You can go to Settings>General>Check For Software Updates

By the way, did it take anyone else an hour to download and install it..?
