to expect the accessory support iPod has been able to obtain due to years of being in the marketplace is simply ignorant the device has only been out 1 year and the 2nd gens just came out.  Companies have to have a license to produce accessories they can't just make them.

that's because Apple already has the licenses and authorization in place.  MS has to establish this process and it doesn't happen overnight which is what so many ignorant people are expecting.  MS is not Apple they won't just let anyone and everyone make garbage for their product.

first off there is no reason to get mean and start calling names i just feel that there has been adequit time to build an accesory line lets not get all huffy puffy about it dont get me wrong i love my zune i love this new social i love the accesories that i have found i.e belkin fm transmitter belkin tune base altec lansing dock system i love all of these products i hate the new v2 and i just want more tochoose from in the way of accesories im not some turnip that just fell off the truck i know how things work but the reason for the social is for people to voice there opinions and discuss different topics and imust say it has been a fun and lively debate with you my friend

I don't recall specifically saying anything about you so before you start beating your chest just relax.  MS has an extensive accessories division they simply do not let anybody want wants to make garbage for their product make it.  The 360 early on in it's life was pretty much all 1st party accessories it took a couple years to actually get good 3 party support.

im sorry but have you looked at the available accessories on the zune site as long as your looking for a case or something to wrap your zune in your ok but if you are looking for anything else your screwed

i never said it was just cases i said that case are the only thing that there is any selection in how many docking systems are available 3, 2 are approx $100.00 and 1 is $500.00 how many fm transmitters are available do any of them charge your battery while driving down the road and is there a cradle for the zune to sit in or do you have to have wires all over your car

I agree with you for the most part.  There are fewer accy's, but that is to be expected not being an iPod and all... However:

This includes a place to rest your zune(not a dock, but as close as you will get with this setup), charging, and fm.  Look at the description.  My biggest issue is a bluetooth accessory that allows the zune to be controlled using the device, possibly using a2dp... 

The only device that has THAT particular accessory is, well... yeah.

i appreciate it crazed and i know ipod has the market i feel that there should be more of a push fromms it is a better product and once people see that everything will get better as for accessories i have found everything that i want its just that it wasnteasy ive got an belkin fm transmitter that has a dock built in for the car which is no longer made it is the best fm transmitter ive seen belkin does however stillmake there ipod version i also have the dock that hooks up to your pc which is about the only thing you can find in a store i have the belkin tune base which basically works as a external battery pack and will also allow me to charge without my pc and finally i have the altec lansing docking station which has great sound but my friend has a docking station that sound just as good and does all the same things for his ipod that he paid $30 for compared $90 for the zune compatible 1 i know ipod has the market but ms and us zuner together need to get the word out i look for to the date that an mp3 player is not refered to as an ipod even though its a samsung or what ever brand and i cant wait for the day when i hear oh youve got a zune andnot what kind of ipod is that
