Okay, to the fist quote, what's the point of that post, are you trying to make enemies with people? Also as a fact check, Microsoft is based in Seattle, the zune is made using many parts from Toshiba (and in my opinion is most likely assembled in China): http://www.pocket-lint.co.uk/news/news.phtml/4489/5513/microsoft-zune-player-argo-pyxis.phtml
To the second quote, as I was aware, iPod owned about 60% of the market with Zune at about 5%. I suspect the different sources are reporting differently.
I was pretty confused about the point myself...
I probably got that number from the last Mac Keynote, which admittedly is going to be very favorable towards Apple. I'm glad if it's actually looking better than that for Zune. I could also have a bad memory. I think he was trying to make me feel stupid by pointing out there are many more Zunes out there than I think? Yes, there are millions of them, but still not in the sort of
density for the wireless sharing to take off, especially when you consider you have to be within so many feet of someone (30 ft, off the top of my head?). It will only get better once that marketshare gets to 10%, 20%.... 50%? Dare we dream?
Anyway... let's stay on the thread topic shall we?
