How do I transfer a movie to my zune?

I can download music and pictures to my zune, but I'm having trouble with movies.  I have bought TV shows from the Zune Marketplace and those all downloaded fine, but is there anyway I can transfer DVDs to my Zune?  There are some DVDs that I created that aren't copy-right and even those won't transfer.  I have no clue what to do!

Does it show up in Zune software? Some videos won't transfer when they want. What I try to do is unplug the zune, close zune software and restart and connect them and then try to copy to zune.

You need a program to convert the DVD to a WMV or MP4 file before you can transfer to your zune.

We're having the same problem. I'm trying to transfer the digital copy of movies that I have purchased. They are on my computer as WMV or MP4 files, when I click on the "Play with Zune" I get an error code of  "C00D11E7". Everything I've searched in Zune, tells me I needed purchase the movies through Zune, which aren't available, but why would I want to purchase again. They play in my Windows Media Player, but I want them on my Zune. How do I fix this?

I bought the Zune 120, specifically to add movies. If I had known the movies wouldn't transfer I would have bought an IPod!

The movies that you purchase may have a “DRM” (Digital Right Management) attached to it and your Zune will not support it. The only way you would be able to get around is to find a program to remove the DRM.
