cant get new music on zune

i don't know if this is the right place for this, but i just got the 14 day trial zune-pass and i got some music but its not letting me upload them to my zune
when i try they don't end up on it and in the status screen it has them all under 'not added" and "file not found"

what should i do?

1. There should be a little yellow exclamation point next to the 'not added' files. Click that. What does it say?
2. Are all of your songs in folders that Zune monitors?

it says   

"this item has been moved deleted or renamed"

it also says eror code "cood1197"

 

also i dident put them in different files then the ones the started in

Have you gotten an external drive or otherwise done some different things with your computer? The software isn't finding your file for some reason.

well when i first got it about 3 or 4 mounths ago i tranfered some songs from an external hardrive onto my computer then put them on the zune

i also got some from cd's       but idk how that would have affected it

Is the Zune software correctly monitoring that external hard drive. I've seen instances where the software will get the drive letter wrong.

Well let's start here: Are the songs you're downloading through Zune Pass going into a monitored folder? The error message you're getting is because the software can't seem to locate where the actual file is, which is why you have to first make sure that it's looking in all of the right areas.

um...im not sure but i dident have the external hard drive in when i got the songs

i also found in the settings that i have 2 music follders that they probly went to but idk how to get to them

In that same settings area there should be a spot where it tells you which folder it's going to download your stuff to.

oh yea under the "zune follders" area right

but i still dont know how to get to it     i cant just click it, nd i cant find it

You're gonna have to just take note of the path and then get to it through your My Computer.
