I'm not much into Rap and similar.... But I really like "Lose yourself" by Eminem

mf doom has different personas and hes great aka madvillian aka dangerdoom

Talib Kweli is good

J Dilla (rip) is great

as well as digable planets this is mainly indie rap but its great

IDK PERSONALY I THINK ITS NETHING WITH TUPAC OR SUMTING THAT SAYS SUMTING . I MEAN ITS TRUE THAT LUPE KNOWS HOW TO WRAP BUT I THINK HE REALLY ISNT ON TUPACS LEVEL YET

definitely any of the rhymsayers crew.  Check out immortal technique, he has sick lyrics.  Jean Grae is one of the top female lyricists.  And some old pharcyde.

The number one rap song of all time has got to be I Used To Love H.E.R. by Common.


A Tribe Called Quest, Taliib Kweli, Mos Def, and Kanye West's stuff are really good too.
