i lost my cd that came with my zune that downloads all the programs to start on your computer. Can anyone tell me how i can sync music onto my zune without it or tell me where i could find another cd for sale?

you dont need the CD in order for your zune to function. just go here (http://www.zune.net/en-us/software/download/default.htm) and download the software. drag and drop music into software, then drag and drop into zune icon (lower left) while the zune is connected to PC. that is it.

when i tried that, it had a white window that said zune with the logo. and when i plugged in my zune it asked for a cd-rom to be inserted

when you tried to install from this site...?  Try running Unzoone from here:  http://remove-it.org/tools/unzoone
and then run windows update and install any missing critical updates.  Then install the zune software from this site.
