Um... of course the Zune HD's gonna be in Canada. Where are you guys hearing that it's not? There's no source saying it won't be.
However, the Zune Marketplace, which is what I think you guys are getting mixed up with, hasn't really been talked about much about a release for Canada but I've read one or two articles saying that it is. It's also going to be in UK and other regions, so you can bet teh Zune HD will be released there as well and if it's being released outside the US it will be released in Canada. If you guys are talking about the Zune Marketplace for Xbox 360 after the Microsoft conference, they didn't really talk much about it so you can't start assuming things off the bat after very small information, that's not fair. We need more info and we have no clue if that feature will hit Canada however the current video store IS in Canada and they're saying that the Zune store will replace it. So either the video store for Xbox Live will disappear in Canada altogether, which makes no sense to me, or the store will be replaced with the Zune Video store and if that's the case, would only lead into a Marketplace release for Canada as well. Why would a video store for the Zune be available for Xbox 360 and not the PC software as well, at the very least for movies?
This reminds me when there was very little info about the Wii controller and one developer said that the controller is "pressure sensitive" and the whole internet went crazy and said it was going to have a touch screen on it. The reality was (which I thought I was the only smart person in the world for a few weeks after that lol) was that he was refering to pressure sensitive buttons, which all game controllers have now. So wait until we have more info before declaring something as "confirmed", and try not to mix words around or mistake something for something else. It causes confusion.
