Zuner from Chile!

It's way too early to be demanding compensation. Be patient and see how Microsoft responds to this. As bad of a situation as this is, I wouldn't want to be working on the Zune team in any capacity today. My family has 4 Zune 30s and I have a Zune 80. I think we should all calm down and show some common decency. Give Microsoft a chance to do the right thing. They will not be able to deny this problem exists like the XBox 360 RROD, so just be patient.
That being said, I am quite anxious to see how this issue is resolved. I bought 3 of my Zune 30s last winter at a Target clearance, so I may still be in warranty. I can't imagine that the warranty will be an issue here though.
A bit early to start asking for freebies, isn't it? I mean come on, it's only 7:30 in the morning in Redmond. The Zune team is just now waking up. It will be a few hours, at least, before anybody has a handle on this bug. It could be a day or two. But free Zune Passes? I think that's extreme at the moment.
Hell, they have gone out of their way to keep really old and obsolete Zune 30s running with the latest functionality for the past two years. I'm happy about that. They've taken care of us. They'll deal with this too.
It's an inconvenience. Nothing more.
It's the mirrors...
