There are obviosuly numerous people who don't like the new software, if you are one of them post in here, hopefully enough people will complain and they will change it.  IT IS WAY TOO COMPLICATED!!!!!!

If anybody working for microsoft or the zune team is reading this I have a suggestion.

Add the cool eyecandy but keep the software the same as last.
I cant even make a playlist without drag and drop.

The new software sucks!  Can't search by Genre, Can't edit track info (numbers artists, etc).  Where can I download the old bios and software?

Some Albums I can't play it as an Full Album!!!!!
Does Not Work Good With Various Artists.
Which I Have A Lot Of Them.
If I have let say Top 100 of 2006 Album with a 100 artists the stupid software tells me I have a 100 Albums. And now if I select (click) on that album it tells me that I have only one song. So now I have for every year from 1950 to 2006 Art covers which is over 5600 of them. Plus Other Albums that came from Time Life.
Try to scroll true this. And I don't see it a E-Mail Address for Microsoft Zune software so I can Send them a message with screen capture.

Plus a lot of songs did not pick up a cover from the songs even is there when you select a song in windows Explorer......

Plus the screen is ugly.
They should made it like the Windows Media Center

I'm sure a lot of the team will be monitoring the forums for feedback, so please keep the suggestions coming.

One thing I would point out-- you can right click on a song title to add it to a playlist if you don't like to drag and drop.

Okay, then zune team, what's with the total stonewalling?

We have gotten absolutely no response regarding our absolute hatred of the lack of autoplaylists, not to mention the other areas that have been marked around.

Are you going to do something about it? Or are you going to ignore us? At the very least, I seriously think MS should apologize for the oversight; and immediately after, give us a date when we can expect the patch.

If this were a movie, you'd have an angry mob at your door with pitchforks and torches. I'd be careful with your next move, lest you unleash a torrent of former fans who would spread their anger over this betrayal to potential new customers.

Remember this: your early adopters are the people at the tip of the arrow head; we can steer this arrow down if need be.

I'm not trying to rally against you, I'm really not. I'm just talking about human nature here.

For instance, a few days ago (prior to the new release) I  recommended the zune to a friend. If we don't see a response similar to the one outlined above soon, i will not only not recommend your product in the future, but actually push people away from it. I will go back to my friends and retract my prior suggestion.

Don't make me view my purchase as a mistake. F i x   t h i s. Now.

PS: I can't believe, with all of the fan base on sites like zuneinsider.com, you didn't discuss these sorts of major changes earlier. You could have avoided this mess because you would have quickly found out your focus group results were WRONG.

I want my genres back.
I want working drag and drop without adding to the collection.
I want my small fonts back on my zune. The fonts are HUGE on the Zune.

You know I have had SONY mp3 players for 5 years and lived with Sonicstage.  I have to say the last version of sonicstage was head and shoulders better than the new version of the zune software.  The lack of tag features is killing me.  Not to mention that its a lot slower now too!

 

I think I will go back to my sony HD-NW3.

I lost my video playlists and I can't seem to get any videos onto a playlist at all.  What happened?

I actually like this software better than the previous one.. its really fast and fun
