Zune Plays...
My plays won't update.  Is there a certain way you have to play the music...lol.  Do you have to play downloaded music or can it be music streamed through the marketplace?

When I play music through my Zune collection interface on my Vista PC it updates just fine.

Songs streamed from the marketplace will not count as plays.  A song must be downloaded to your collection and then played for it to count.

Streaming through the marketplace will count only if the song is also in your collection.

Make sure you are signed in on your Zune PC software.

Also, one thing I have noticed is that it does require a small amount of time to show in your play list, I would say a minute.

I have had no problems with that, I am even listening to music on my laptop while I'm posting on my desktop with no problems.

Hi, same Probleme here. When I play songs from my collection, won't update the my plays list.

I also use Vista and listen now for about 30 minutes music, all songs complete, now skipping or something like that.

I also have this problem.... it is showing 2 artists that I listened to probably a day before the upgrade.  Now I listen to other files in the Zune player but they don't show up and I look like a total melvin!

fyi, the client will upload the play data to the service periodically - typically it's once every 15 minutes although that may be adjusted over time.  Also the service may take a few minutes as noted to display the content.  Quite often it's quicker than this - but you may see upwards of a 20 minute delay due to various processing.  Make sure you're signed in to ensure it's reported under your account.

Well i'm having an odd problem with my zune plays, it constantly says two linkin park songs are my most recent songs and i haven't listened to those in months o_O the other 3 slots update just fine but the first two are stuck, is anyone else having this problem or have i royally screwed my profile here? XD
